Admissions Coffee Hour with Current Students
Description
Grab a cup of coffee or tea and join our Admissions Team for a relaxed, online conversation with current students Lauren Lawrence and Nolan Reis. Lauren, a third-year low-residency student based in Texas, is completing the British Object Relations concentration this term and will begin her internship next year, with an independent study with Dr. Hoard this spring. Because Texas requires more counseling credits and hours, she is on a four-year track. Nolan, a second-year on-campus student, will be interning at Vashon Youth and Family Services starting this fall.
They'll mainly share their own stories about coursework, residencies, internships, and the personal growth that comes with graduate study. Along the way you'll see how Sustainability shows up in the ways they think, practice, and engage the world. At The Seattle School, sustainability isn't an add-on or checklist item. It's about cultivating practices and rhythms that allow students to do meaningful work over the long haul, in academic settings and in real-world contexts.
When you register, you can submit a question for a chance to hear directly from Lauren and Nolan about their experiences navigating graduate work and how sustainability shapes their paths. Each Admissions Coffee Hour features a different voice and perspective from The Seattle School. Bring your questions and curiosity. We'd love to connect and share what life in our learning community is really like.
Zoom details will be sent after you register.
